Booked this location as it was one of the cheapest options to stay for a wedding at Rainbow Beach. Room was generally clean, however, cutlery and crockery didn't look to be washed from the last use. Very basic room, no iron or hairdryer, bed wasn't the most comfortable and had booked a queen bed only to receive a double bed... More

Great location. Air conditioner didnt work, thank goodness for the lovely breeze. Slept in lounge on fold out couches as the bedroom was as hot as a sauna and the fan only worked on one speed... incredibly slow! good sized rooms. Electricution hazard in the bathroom, power point taped onto the wall with masking tape. Budget accomodation at 4 star... More

Rainbow Sands Resort was a last minute booking, 1 bedroom apartment was a great size and had everything we need for a couple of nights. Close to shops, beach and sports club, undercover parking and a swimming pool for the kids. Other visitors were quiet and We didn't have a noise problem. Staff friendly and helpful - I've always stayed... More

Stayed here on Saturday night after driving up from Noosa without booking ahead. Had looked online and couldn't find any reasonably priced accommodation (possibly to deter schools?) only to find there was actually plenty available. We had a look at a one bedroom unit ($130) which was spacious but probably more than we needed for the night so opted for... More

Functional. A place to sleep. Affordable. Basic. I'm sure that you get the picture, except that I've stayed in a decent number of these style of places around Australia and this one just seems a notch down. Maybe I'm more forgiving of these types of places in the country bush and outback where choice is limited, but here you are... More

It was unplanned accomodation due to our car breaking down on the way to Fraser Island. So we ended up stayed for 4 nights, since our car break down on Friday and have to wait till Monday for the mechanic to inspect it and for some muck up with the mechanic we ended up stayed from Friday night till Tuesday... It could be a pleasant deal, according to competitive price and the accomodation seems to be freshly redecorated, except for some "sandy" and smelly bed linens! That was a pity, because the overall accommodation is quite pleasant and well furnished, with a breathtaking balcony view toward the forest and the beach. I guess that something went wrong with the linens... More

We come up every Christmas or Australia Day and love it.. Rooms and Bathroom a little out dated but as the rates are very reasonable you cannot complain.. Kids love the pool, the balcony is great for relaxing and everything you need as in shops and places to go for dinner are literally only a few steps away... Units are... More

We were happy enough with the accommodation but ended up being locked out of our room in the early hours of the morning. We booked and paid for a 2 bedroom apartment and on arrival were given a key which I assumed was for all of the doors. We were there for a wedding so were in a rush to... More
