At least in the off season, there is not much to see in Yeppoon. There is a lovely beach, but outside of that there is not much to do. There are not many choices for dinner, but the Thai Restaurant was very good.

As for the hotel . . . it is a couple kilometres from town. The view is lovely - it would have been even better if the highway wasn't between you and the beach. The pool looked great, but when we went to swim in it at night there were no lights whatsoever. The Jacuzzi is good, although I prefer them when they are out doors and it was not very full either. They have a substantial games room with foosball and ping pong. The workout equipment is only passable – old but working.

The room was large so it would be great for families, although the furnishings weren't the best. All in all, it served its purpose for a one nights stay along the way down the east coast.
