We have a great time from the moment we stayed there. The lady at reception was so welcoming and even remembered us in the street the next day. The rooms were very cute and a great big shower. These stone cottages are very clean and great value for money. Built for Cornish copper mining familes in the 1800's, the cottages have their own kitchen where you are able to do your own cooking and only walking distance to the town if you wish to eat out. For $110 per night, all up these cottages are probably good value. They are clean, spacious and generally have character. It is not 5 star luxury but the price acknowledges that. To sum up they are certainly good value for a family that do not want to pay near $200 per night. I should add that their location is fantastic.... More

The cottage was well appointed but when we lit the fires they smoked out two cottages we could not breath and our eyes were stinging when we notified the office they came down and said they have had this before just open the door.
