Stayed here for one night as part of an organised Kimberley Tour. Pleasantly surprised by the place - it built on stilts with covered walkways linking the various buildings. Room was reasonable size with double bed and good air con, bathroom bit small but clean, only adverse comment was that the walls were thin and we could hear the people... more

The Fitzroy River Lodge at Fitzroy Crossing in the Kimberley region is one of the stopover venues for tours of the region with a variety of accommodation from motel rooms to onsite tents and camping. The cheaper motel rooms are a set of tiny demountable units on a mound above flood level about 100 metres from the main buildings. One... more

I would say thougn that this place would be under the $100 mark if it was in any city or... more

The property itself is very attractive, all built on stilts & linked with covered walkways etc - the verandah was a great place to watch a spectacular... more

We stayed here for one night so that we could go to Geikie Gorge the next morning. There were 4 of us (2 ad 2Ch) in a triple room with an extra fold out bed. The room was very clean as it was newly renovated. It had enough room for a one night stay. The restaurant was very nice. The... more

Aud 175,-- for an average room and no special conveniences is very high like most accomodation in northern West Australia but on the long drive from Kununurra to Broome it's one of the few places to stay. The hotel is build on poles because the area is flooding regularly and the very pleasant pool is downstairs. Covered parking and a... more
