1) A door twisted and bent off straight that I could not open without the manager showing me a trick to open it.
2) An overwhelming smell of mildew permeated the bed, the carpet and the gross, peeling wallpaper behind the nightstand.
3) The mildew could probably be chalked up to the leaking toilet.
4) I tried to change rooms, but alas, they had saved this one for last and for me after booking well in advance through a travel service.
5) Had it not been 1 AM when I arrived, I would have left immediately; instead I was tired enough to get past the palpable gagging I was having from the mildew to fall asleep and cancel the rest of my reservation the following morning. more
