It was June, all but 100-degree temperature and 80-some % humidity. Ask about ice machines while checking in. Registrar said ice machines worked. Top floor machine was open with a section missing and all wires inside disconnected. Bottom floor machine just didn't work. Went down the road and got ice from neighboring hotel. Out some gas money for ice and up untill 11:30pm trying to resolve this seemingly simple issue. Also had to push chair against curtain in order to keep it from gaping open. --- Was going to ask for some sort of credit/refund in morning. NO REGISTRAR IS THERE IN THE MORNING! After almost 30 minutes of trying to find someone, a maid said, "You just leave the key card in the room when you go." ????????? WHAT IF I USED THE PHONE? THEY DON"T COLLECT THOSE FEES? more
