I booked this hotel for the price and the location, I was a little concerned being so inexpensive and so close to the beach but it was quite nice. Clean room and bathroom with friendly staff. Within 5 miles of the Deep Point Marina, so it's an excellent choice for those planning a day trip to Bald Head Island. There's a strip mall 2 miles down with 3-4 restaurants and a Walmart. We were happy with our stay. more

I don't know when this hotel was built but it still looks new and clean. Our only minor complaint was a wet carpet near the AC due to condensation (not uncommon in hotels).
