We stayed at mountain brook over new year's. The place is beautiful. Cottages are clean, with fireplaces and wood supplied, and pretty streams outside the window where you can hear the water at night. Privacy of a cabin without the complete seclusion. You need to make sure you know you will be staying, as their refund policy is almost non-existant.... more

We arrived at Mountain Brook at 5:30 PM on a Friday night only to find that they had made a mistake in our reservation and did not have a room for us.
