It was good to have reliable Hampton Inn in a small, off-the-beaten-track town. Pretty much comparable to other Hamptons, comfortable and pleasant without anything extra-special, and without the extra-special cost. I'll take this any day. They really could improve the breakfast though. Slow and tedious, and only okay food.

We stay at this hotel just about every time we come for the fossil festival in Aurora, NC. It is convenient to get to Aurora from this hotel. The hotel is consistently clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the place is well lit and safe. The rooms are clean and the linens are all fresh.

Review given previously. There was no hot water to be had. Less than tepid. Hot waster heater malfunction days before. Situation started out poorly but improved by checkout clerk Anna with her professional handling of the situation at checkout. I commend her. She saved the day for Hampton.

Radio on nightstand was inoperable, although alarm did work. Cover on AC unit was partially loose. Toilet tank refilled from time to time due to apparent tank to bowl leak. Other than that, room was clean and comfortable.

I usualy stay in B&Bs when travelling. After staying here, I will stay in Hampton Inns if convenient. Rooms was spacious, very clean, bed very comfortable, TV could be viewed from bed. Bathroom was very large, clean had Jacuzzi like tub. Alle in all "I sahll return".

My family stays at this hotel about once every six weeks. Our room is always clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with the pool and hottub too. I reserved my room through the Hilton Honors program. Check in was quick and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
