The Windover is a historic inn that has been restored into a great B&B. Glenn and Jen offer friendly service with tasty and filling breakfasts each morning. The town of Waynesville has great dining options and is just 30 minutes from GSMNP. We just returned from our third trip to the Windover and look forward to returning many more times. more

We stayed here for three nights in October, and were very pleased with the property and service. It's located in a nice residential area less than a mile from Waynesville's town center. This was the 2nd time that we have stayed at the WIndover Inn. We loved it just as much as the first time we stayed. It is about 30 minutes from Asheville, but it is definitely worth the drive. We plan on going back in the spring. more

This is a great B&B - as a first time traveller to the US and having stayed in many B&B's in the UK, this was up there with the best of them. Great hosts, fantastic breakfasts, and beautiful surroundings - you couldn't ask for more. If I'm ever back in Waynesville, there's no question of staying anywhere else. more

This B&B is everything you hope to find in an Inn. It is beautiful inside and out. The grounds are very lovely and included a gazebo with a swing, great firepit, beautiful front porch and beautiful gardens. We stayed at this B&B after reading reviews on Trip Advisor so I wanted to write in and share our experience at the Windover Inn. The owners are really sweet and our room (The pacific suite) was very nice. The whirlpool jet tub in the room constantly drains so we only used that one night, but otherwise everything was great.... more
