7 members of my family went to Wilmington for a wedding this weekend. We booked the entire French House for us and it couldn't have been better. Janice was lovely, welcoming and made us feel right at home. She took care of little details, left personalized notes for each of us and served wonderful breakfast! They dont take credit cards !! Just what decade are they operating in!!! We made the reservation on the phone and when we arrived we were told they had double booked our room and that the other couple had allready arrived. My husband and I stayed here this past weekend for our 7th Anniversary. This is such a lovely bed and breakfast. Janice, the innkeeper, is such a friendly person and she makes you feel so welcome. She has 3-4 rooms that she rents out and they all have antiques. Her breakfast is served on trays and delivered to your room.... more
