This hotel should have a lot going for it, especially for young families with kids. It is in an ideal location in terms of proximity to Wilmington and all beaches, and has many chain restaurants (i.e. Golden Corral and Outback) within close walking distance. There is even a grocery store across the street, for provisions. It seems to be in... more

I stayed at the Baymont in April of 2008. The hotel had no 2 double beds non smoking rooms available so we stayed in a smoking room, and to my surprise the smell was not to bad!. A pretty good breakfast selection( waffles, cereal, fruit, french toast. Nice little pool area, a little small but it was nice. The two... more

We had to change rooms after the first night. We had a pet, so we stayed in a pet friendly room. Unfortunately, they 'say' they shampooed the carpets, and maybe they did as the carpet was wet. The room had an awful mold smell, as did the next two rooms they tried to move us to. The staff and breakfast... more

This is a wonderful hotel. Clean, close to many places to eat. Friendly staff. Safe and in a nice part of town near NC University of Wilmington. I will be staying there again and I'm very picky. more

Not a bad hotel/motel. I would rate this one at around 2 stars, not 2 and a half to 3, as I have seen elsewhere. It's just above a typical Red Roof Inn. Location is reasonable, just off 117 and an Outback Steakhouse next door. A good location for a quick get away, possibly for business (if you're paying). We... more

My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at the Baymont Inn in October. We stayed two nights, from Friday to Sunday. Our room was on the first floor. We had the parking lot right in front of our door which was very convenient but never loud. The staff at the desk was very helpful when we ask for... more

First of all the good news: great breakfast. Nice lady in the breakfast room keeps everyone happy. Waffle maker is a big plus. This one not only worked but made good waffles. The rest of the breakfast was fairly standard: cereals, fruits, wrapped danishes and doughnuts, juices, coffees. The third floor has no pets allowed which is a big goodie... more

Awesome stay for the money. Free Internet is a plus, and within the proximity that Wilmington has everything to offer definetly makes this place worthwhile. Provides everything any other hotel in the area would provide including a free breakfast and in-room coffee, but for a better rate than most of those places. more

I chose the Baymont Inn by reading TA reviews. The price was reasonable and the hotel lived up to most of the recommendations of other trip advisors. The location was convenient for travelers with cars. It was about 15 minutes from and to anywhere in town. The neighborhood was modern commercial and appeared quite safe. The hotel exterior was clean... more
