It was a shame to see such a beautiful bed and breakfast being run by the most uncharming inn keeper. He seemed very nice over the phone when booking the rooms, but when we arrived he was completely unwelcoming. I felt as if I were intruding in his home. A nice, comfortable, quiet, and peaceful B&B just close enough to the main part of downtown Wilmington, yet far enough away to avoid weekend crowds and traffic. A leisurely walk downhill takes 10 minutes, and proved to be one of the attractions to this B&B. Sufficient on-street parking, never had to worry about a parking space during a busy weekend.... more
