We booked a one night stay while we visiting Winston Salem to move our daughter in to Wake Forest University. The plan was to move her in early and then return 4 days later for orientation. We liked this hotel so much that we canceled our reservation at another hotel even though it was a bit closer to campus.

It is sparkling clean and the rooms are very functional. Easy internet access, decent breakfast, functional gym. Pool was too small though. We travel a lot and have stayed in several 5 star hotels. The difference always comes down to the staff.

We had a problem with our room A/C. The staff was all over it. It took a while but they did not give up. They truly cared about our comfort. The manager (Shannon) is great. Ruben and Carson at the front desk were helpful pointing out the best local barbecue spots.

We hope to use this hotel as our base during the next 4 years of college! more
