Hotel was quiet and nicely appointed. The staff was helpful and attentive. The hotel is very conveniently located, which was useful for parents of a new college student. Our only concern was that the Holiday Inn website stated that all rooms had a refrigerator. This was not the case, although we were given one. more

Stayed here on a week long business trip to Winston Salem. Very nicely renovated, almost boutique style furnishings. The room was clean and no strange smells, one of my continuing hotel gripes. I recently tried this hotel again after a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. The new owners have really made a splash with their new renovations. The hotel was warn, inviting and the staff was excellent. I will continue to choose this hotel over all others in the area. more

renovations almost complete - we stayed in a nice renovated room - only nuisance was the heating/airconditioning system was noisy and presumably not part of the renovation. This place is a pretty standard Holiday Inn, and was undergoing renovation when we stayed there in Sept. '05. The renovation should be finished soon, so the place should be in decent shape.
