My recent two-night stay at the Hotel Donaldson couldn't have been any nicer -- from the outstanding and reasonably-priced room service (General Dirty's Chicken rocks!) and the complimentary breakfast and wine/cheese in the afternoon to the comfy bed, artwork by local artists and spacious rooms with funky decor. We stayed at the Hotel Donaldson for four nights in June. We stayed in Room One and enjoyed the hotel, except for at night. Unfortunately our room was above the bar and we could hear the music from the bar - the pulsating bass, etc, in our room. My husband called the front desk and we were offered ear plugs.... more
