Not a nice hotel. There were ants everywhere in the room, including the bed. After we complained that treated the room and put a mosquitos net around the bed. It made it better, but it ruined our holiday after staying at much nicer hotel in Habarana, Kandy and Colombo. Food is nice though. Buffet is aound 1500 lkr per person.... more

Stayed here in November with 2 small kids. Have always gone independently before but with kids thought would give the resort style holiday a go. We stayed at the Riverina hotel for two pleasurable weeks. Food good, service good and staff in general very friendly. Our room was overlooking the sea and kept very clean and tidy by our room boy. Just returned from the Riverina, have not got one bad thing to say about the place. The staff were so friendly, that includes the waiters to the cleaners and the door men. The food was fantastic, sometimes didn't like the theme of the food but thats just me personally but that only happened once and otherwise the food was delicious.... more
