I was a liitle scary to look for accomodation when I read the reviews about this northern Alberta town. So, I have not reserved in advance but visited some motels and asked to see the rooms. I'm in a band that travels the country circut in Alberta and the Stardust is one of our stops. We have never gotten good service there and what was mentionned in the 1st comment is very precise. The slummy wing has barely any heat and the lights on the stage seem to be the only heat in this building. Mind... more

Lethargic staff in hotel and adjoining club, not friendly at all, and everyone in this town looks grumpy (I now know why!?). Expensive meals, although food was ok.
