My sister and I were just driving home from a funeral and needed a place to spend the night. The only available hotel room in Stony Plain was at the Ramada. We weren't really prepared to spend $160 CAD for one night, but what can you do? We ended up getting the AAA discount, which helped a bit. The room was actually a loft suite, with a tv, kitchen, sofa bed, small table with four chairs and full bathroom downstairs, and two queen beds, another tv and a bathroom with shower upstairs. Both levels had an airconditioner, and upstairs was a large closet to hang clothes. There was also a nice little balcony with a patio table and two chairs. The kitchen had a coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, sink, etc. Of course, it was way too large for our needs, but we both agreed that it would be a great place to come with a family, and stay for a few days. The only bad thing I can say about it, is that it seemed like housekeeping hadn't vacuumed recently. The carpet looked quite worn. There... more
