It was absolutely awesome. I see in some of the other reviews they don't reccommend it for the younger crowd, but I disagree. I went with my Mother, Father, brother, and best friend. It was amazing. The hotel was nice, and it saves you a bit of money since you don't have to pay for the pass everyday to get... more

We traveled to Ainsworth Hot Springs in Mid September 2008. We found the people there nice and very willing to assist us in every manner. The facility looked to be recently updated and was clean. We had a premium room without the lake view. It was just what we needed as we were never in the room to take advantage... more

After a few years of being "home-bound" by twins, my husband surprised me with a last minute get away to the Kootenays. His (and now my) destination of choice was Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort. There were chocolate dipped strawberries awaiting us when we arrived, and chilled champagne in the room.. with the sweetest note from my husband, all set up... more

I recently stayed at the Ainsworth Hot Springs (on the third floor) and was impressed by the beautifully decorated rooms. I was told they were recently refurbished, and they are stunning - in white & gold! Perfect for my weekend retreat with my partner!! Not to mention the spectacular views - waking up to views of the lake & mountains... more

The hotel was average (definitely not a resort). The rooms were very clean but the age is definitely showing. If you are looking for a high end resort this is not the place to go. If you are looking for a little getaway with not a lot of crowds or touristy stuff then this is a 'diamond in the rough'.... more

Hotel is infested with STINK BUGS, and when we called the front desk they had sent up housekeeping, who then advised us to just flush them down the tiolet when we saw them, I flushed 7 myself. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ROOMS!!!!!!!! more

The resort is dated and worn-out looking. There is nothing special whatsoever about the look of the building or the rooms which have dated carpet, curtains and bedding. There is only one pool and the hot springs caves - the pool was disappointingly small, perhaps two times the size of a backyard pool and crammed with both hotel guests and... more

We decided to take a drive to Ainsworth to try out the hot springs. When we got there we quickly discovered the hotel is old. I dont know what would make them a resort? I am glad we brought our own food because the resort is not near anything than B&B's. Nelson is quite a drive and Kaslo is about... more

We stayed at the Ainsworth Hotsprings Resort, and found that it was very pleasant and was very clean. The hot springs pools were very good. There are the caves that provides a lot of helpful rejuvination. It heats you up to help you feel better. After you go into the caves, you can choose to go either into the cold... more

This summer My family and I went for a vacation out to the kootney lake. My sister and I let our husbands go golfing while we watched the kids so our husbands desided to book us massages at Ainsworth hot springs....What a mistake that was. They went in late in the evening as they were done golf late. An older... more
