The owners came to the bus terminal to pick me up. The rooms are clean, and the bed is comfy. You can take a nice long shower after a hard day and then sit back and have coffee. Mike your dinner and relax. Very nice owners and very resonable rates. I will stay here again next time I happen to... More

Stayed at the motel the May 4-6th, 2013. It is an old, very clean, well equiped single room(fridge, microwave, coffee, wifi, air conditioner) motel at a low price. This room had one queen bed which did fill the small room. The owners were friendly and helpful. It is good value for the price I paid. It might be chilly in the winter... More

I always stay here when I'm in Burns Lake on business. TV & coffee, microwave & fridge, bed & phone. What more do you need? Ask the staff and they will help you out. They also have full kitchens if you need one and will put you in one of those units if available, book ahead.

First of all, when you walk in the front office door, you are greeted with no one, but then a hairy, lanky creature will appear from nowhere. He truly has no customer service skills. The rooms were very dirty, I slept on the chair because there were blood stains on the boxspring mattress and other stains on the bedsheets and... More

For a highway motel, this is one of nicest and cleanest we've stayed in. On that long drive from Prince George to Prince Rupert, we found this to be an excellent stop to rest and relax. The managers/owners were very pleasant and accomodating. It was obvious that they've been updating the untis as ours had new wood laminate floors and... More

The Traveller's Motel was the most helpful motel that we stayed at in Burns Lake. We had previous reservations to stay at the Burns Lake Motor Inn for a Hockey tournament with 44 other parents on the team but when the management of Burns Lake Motor Inn neglected to inform us that there cleaning staff was on strike and that... We should have slept in our truck. Had no other options. Will plan next trip to avoid this overnight stop. The room was very dirty, the door did not lock, the floor around the toilet was rotten. If a person of size tried to use the toilet they would have fallen through the floor. The power went out when the... More
