I stayed a Cache Creek for one night on our way through BC and Alberta. Rolled into town without a booking and had to take pot luck on where to stay and for no reason other than it looked OK from the outside, we picked the Sandman. What a good choice we made. I often travel through Cache Creek/Ashcroft on my motorcycle (ST1100). The motel is fine, with ground floor units and parking right out front - BUT it is the restaurant that is great and try the lemon chicken for sure! more
I like to take the longer way around to go to my sisters in Burnaby, rather than pay to drive on the Coquihalla, it's a personal thing, that GD toll road, etc. The Sandman in Cache Creek is great for my halfway stop! Inexpensive, safe, clean, allows my little dog, and the best part is the restaurant! The Greek food... more
