It is a very intimate and quaint setting and the owner operators and perfectly friendly and only check on you if you approach them. They seemed genuinely interested in anything they could do to improve my stay. I work hard and I was concerned I would not get the privacy and the peace and the quiet I so desperately needed.... I stayed for a couple of days and found the motel all that you need/want from a motel. The owners are lovely and friendly, the place was clean and had all that i needed, including wireless internet. The garden has some lovely artwork in . I would return anytime

We've been coming to the Village motel now for 12 years now and have had a wonderful time each and every summer there. The owners are great and the motel is kept clean, and you are always greeted with warmth. The motel like the town is a pearl in the Okanagan and is the best kept secret. The motel is... More

We arrive in Naramata late in the day. The Village Motel looked so inviting and it turned out to be a perfect place to stay for a couple nights. The sleeping rooms are small but there is a big common garden with a cooking area in the back. The owners are charming with their little French Bull dog "Heidi". They've... More

We stayed here in September 2012 - just for one night as we were traveling through. Although small room (complete with hide-away Murphy bed), it was extremely clean, with a comfortable mattress. Beautiful small courtyard, brimming with plants, sculptures and hordes of California quail. Shirley was very friendly, and welcoming, and the place was very quiet, but of course this... More

This is our second stay at this small, well-run courtyard motel centrally located in Naramata Village. A 5 min. Walk to beaches and parks and 15 min. drive to numerous wineries and restaurants, The Village Motel is a great location for enjoying a classic Okanagan summer vacation. Units are clean, well-equipped and managed by long-time Owners, Shirley + Ulrich. Rates... More

In an age of faceless international style hotels that are undistinguished and could be located 'anywhere', the cosy, comfortble + quiet Vilage Motel- with nine scrupulously clean, yet character-laden units located in the heart of the lovely village of Naramata- is a real gem. This remarkable early 1950s vacation spot has been a labour of love for the inkeepers Shirley... More

My husband and I stumbled on to this place and were so pleased with our stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and there's a wonderful courtyard with fun artwork. Naramata was a delight. We really enjoyed the warmth of the climate and the people. Wednesday afternoon there's also a market that is a treat... More

My husband and I are athletes and we compete in the Ironman triathlon in Penticton. Finally, we have found a quiet, quaint and relaxing venue for the week before our big event. We stayed in August 2011 and will stay again in August 2012. Ulrich and Shirley are very pleasant people and always willing to help. The rooms are clean... More
