This could be a great little hotel: it's in a good location and a beautiful building. However, it suffers what a lot of small Canadian hotels suffer from, lack of thought and average service. The rooms are ok but could do with a refresh. Overall if you are just looking for somewhere to put your head down for the night,... more

We have spent one night at the Naramata Heritage Inn & Spa, located in the Okanogan wine region of British Columbia. After reviewing the properties history from their web site "The Hotel Naramata, resting on the shores of Okanagan Lake..." one would think this was a lake front property. However, while close to the lake, it is in the midst... more

We spent two nights mid-week in a king sized room and very much enjoyed the setting, history and ambience of the property. It is a very old building so expect the rooms to be small and quaint (the bathtub is in the bedroom). The restaurant/winebar is an indoor/outdoor experience and very popular so be sure to book for dinner. The... more

Well, the first thing you can say about this inn is that it lives up to the heritage name. The building dates from 1908, I think. And for that reason, I can forgive it for a lot of sins I wouldn't forgive in other buildings. I think this is why the rates are what they are. It's a very nice,... more

We stayed at the Naramata Heritage Inn for two nights in the middle of June/06. As other people have stated, it is a bit pricey. I think about $50 less per night and there would not be so many complaints about the price.I personally like not having a TV in the room. It allows you to reconnect with whomever you... more

Naramata Heritage Inn and Spa Was a gift from my husband for my birthday. We paid $250 a night and was not really impressed with the hotel. Its very old and its like staying at your great grandmothers house.. no tv's in the room so if its raining and bad weather better bring a good book to read. Very noisy... more

Wanted to note our very positive experience with this property. This is our 4th visit to the Okanagan valley and our1st visit to the east shore north of Penticton. The drive from Penticton is approx. 15 minutes through wine and orchard fields.Spectaculor views from "the bench".Naramata Inn and Spa is a nicely restored heritage site and building. The rooms are very... more

Nice rooms but there are no facilities for young children. We recently stayed there in a suite with our 1 year old infant, and our other two children. They had no cot or bed available for our one year old so we had to buy our own travel cot. Their cancellation policy is strictly enforced so we were charged for... more

This facility was highly over-rated in our humble opinions. We stayed with our infant son recently, and were not overly impressed with the amenities. The rooms were small, old, and claustrophobic. There are no TV's in the rooms which makes the shortcomings in the rooms even more pronounced. Not much to do around the facility either, and for the price... more
