Spent two weeks at Fireside Lodge, arrived via rented car from Vancouver. Rented car off-airport at Airport Hilton (Richmond, BC), despite name of hotel it is off-airport, reach with free shuttle.
Beautiful drive to Kamloops, then 45 minutes to Sun Peaks.
Accomodations just great, cafes/restaurants superb, shops above average. Scenery spectacular, golf course: final 9 still under construction. Staff very accomodating, parking inside. Sister lodge is the Hearthstone, almost next door. Returning in March 2004, that's the best recommendation. A real family spot in the mountains. more
