I am currently on vacation in the Atlantic provinces and have stayed two nights at the Captain's Inn. The Captain's Inn is located marvelously at the western entrance to Alma, 200 meters from the entrance to the Fundy National Park. The room was spacious and the attached bathroom was comfortable. We recently stayed here for 2 nights while touring in New Brunswick. There is not a lot of accommodation choice in this area, and this was a real little gem. It is right opposite the harbour. There are not too many choices in Alma, but the Captains Inn is clean, quiet and a pleasant place to stay. Before choosing the Captains Inn, we looked at the Alpine Motor Inn and the Parkland Village Inn. Captain’s Inn was the best by far. The breakfast (included with the room) was OK, but nothing special. more

Excellent accomodation and hospitality. The Captains Inn is very good B&B in a quite area. Located close to Fundy National Park and approximatly 45 mins from Hopewell rocks. The owner is very hospitable and makes you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. Included in the price is a home cooked breakfast of real Canadian bacon, scrambled eggs, toast... more

My husband & I stayed at the Captain's Inn for 4 nights. Our stay started really great because we arrived and found a small bottle of wine and an anniversary card waiting for us. I had mentioned our anniversary when I asked about booking a nice restaurant to have a celebratory anniversary meal. I didn’t think the owner would have... more
