Stayed here on our way home from the US. The owner is very nice, which is the only positive. The room was old, musty and cold!! There was a fridge and microwave, which we wouldn't have used, and no coffee pot. There is no breakfast, which might be a good thing! Coffee shop right down the street. A tossup between... More

We stayed there for one night on our way to the States, and we have stayed there many times in the past. The furniture is old fashioned, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets were fine, the internet worked, and we appreciated having a small fridge in our room. The building, including our room was spotlessly clean, and we would... More

This is not the sort of place I would normally seek out (I usually research things to death beforehand), but we just needed a place to crash for a few hours after crossing the border in the middle of the night, and this was the first we saw. It worked for what we needed it to be, which was a... More

The staff were quiet, yet generally friendly. The decor of this motel ressembles the late 70's, early 80's period. The bed was generally ok for sleeping, except that it was too short for me (I'm 6'0) , so I slept with my feet hanging over the edge. No extras with this place. The smoke alarm had been broken and was... More

On a road trip through Maine and around the Maritimes, we debated where to stay the night before heading to Saint John to take the ferry to Digby. We have stayed before at the Redclyffe Inn, not far away in Maine, where the motel is just OK but the restaurant is amazing. However with having the cross the border in... More

We emailed prior to our booking and were promised a clean and comfortable room. When we got in at midnight we were put at the lower part of the motel and walked into a room where the moths literally flew from the curtains, sheets were dirty and it stunk of mold. I had a 5 yr old and 8 week... More

We have just returned from staying one night at the St. Stephen Inn.It will be the last one for us. The room was small and dingy. The bathroom door did not close properly, the wood had swollen on the door, from dampness I think!!!The steel legs of the bathroom sink were rusty. The towel bar fell apart when putting the... More

I am not the typical complainer. After a long and tireing trip returning from the US, we decided to stay at the St Stephen Inn, St Stephen, New Brunswick...big mistake! There was no hot running water for baths, showers etc, would have had to share a rubber plug between the tub and sink (didn't matter anyway as the sink wouldn't... More
