Myself and my husband and another couple went for a day of golf and an overnight stay. The staff are amazing, very nice and helpful. The golf course was gorgeous. Well maintained and again the staff on the greens are outstanding. We asked for an upgrade upon arriving and there was a better room available. We went from a regular... More

For those of you who stayed at the wilds in the past and were not happy with it this is the reason. The manager of the hotel was a total moron. he cut like half the staff there for the hotel or golf course wasnt being kept up. the course was going down hill along with the hotel he was... More

Went there on February 09. Bug snow storm and some of their employees did not get in to work so we were told. But they went out of there way to accommodate us. The dinner that night was amazing although we heard that a couple of mains were sent back because the fish was not cooked. The rooms are pretty... More

Myself my husband and three other couples stayed at The Wilds for New Years Eve. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, it was beautiful and clean. The hotel was lovely, there was a crackeling fireplace in a sitting area that added a cozy feel. They are doing some renovations on the main bar in the hotel, the area was closed... More

The purpose of this visit was to play golf. The accommodation was not of prime importance. However, it was perfectly adequate. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was nice without being spectacular. The best part with the stay is being able to sit outside on the fabulous deck area, overlooking the wonderful... More

Hotel has standard rooms that are relatively pricy. Golf course is challenging, but of average beauty. Been to many golf resorts on the island - and this one isn't anything overly special. Great twilight prices for golf however.

We stayed at the Wilds to attend a Wedding on August 17, 2012. The Resort is beautiful as are the rooms we had a Villa. We arrived check in great busy but that was to be expected with a Wedding. Went to our room and back to the bar for a drink with friends we hadn't seen in a while.... More

Friendly staff but that is where it all stops. The food was mediocre compared to what we had through Newfoundland. I took the smokey applewood salmon for dinner and what I had in my plate was a very dry, overcooked, tasteless fish instead. I slept in quite a few beds in Newfoundland and throughout the world and the bed I... More

New suite was nice was spacious with balcony with grill. No local groceries so buy in route. Bar snack in evening was all fried but fairly tasty. Breakfast was exceedingly slow and coffee was only water. Major concern was bed. Could smell after shave of prior guest. Sheets also were of questionable cleanliness. Not much else in area.
