Found this place by mistake but I would say that folks should make it a destination. The lodge is very comfy, sits on a great lake from which you can see the sunset. My wife and I both enjoyed a few days at the the lodge. Barbe arrange for a FF guide and the gals in the kitchen prepared our catch for all the guests. All the meals are communal, we like it. The other travelers there were pleasant to meet and chat with. We liked our room, it was clean and comfortable.

Since meals are served in a common dining room with two long tables, we got the chance to speak with many of the other guests. The food was good, and the room was spacious with very comfortable beds. My only complaint was that its a little far from the main attractions of St Anthony and L'Anse aux Meadows.
