We stayed at cottage number 1 and later cottage number 2 during our two week visit to Newfoundland in June. They were both absolutely equipped for longer stays (we were there two nights the first time and one night the second). The owners are relatively new and have taken over a long-established cottage type motel. They are doing a ton of work on it, so there is some "in progress" feel to the place, but the cottages we were in were finished. Lovely setting on the Codroy River - if you had kids there was a play area with all kinds of equipment and they were getting the outdoor pool in shape. Pay laundry (one washer, one dryer) was very handy. Kind of has a 1950s feel, and is great value for the money. Claudelle (she and her husband own it) let us go in the cabin on the first night (door was unlocked) and just register the next day whenever we saw her as our ferry was really late getting in.
