Elsie was very friendly and was able to tell us about the Newfoundland dishes like the Jig's dinner and how to prepare it. The breakfast was great and room was comfortable. more
What can we say, friendly and comfortable like Grandma's house...with food, accommodations and presentation to impress anyone. We stayed here a few times while we were building our own place in Port Blandford! Yes, we were fortunate enough to find our own piece of heaven there. Elsie is wonderful! Her family just can't do enough for you. Thanks for everything... more
Our room at Serendipity had an ensuite bathroom, TV, mini fridge, books, comfortable bed etc. Excellent. Great breakfast and our host was very helpful. Phone 709-543-2555. more
We chose the Serendipity B&B from the internet. We (party of four) were certainly not disappointed. Elsie and Gerald Davis went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The home was spotlessly clean and well presented. Then...the next morning comes the hot home-cooked breakfast!! Well, you would have to be a 'lumber jack' to consume everything... more
