We stayed at the Ponds Inn for 2 nights. Our hosts tried to help us as much as possible - with phone use, internet. The breakfasts were interesting - try the swedish/grosmorne pan cakes... This was a good base for exploring Gros Morne. Coming in early from Deer Lake, we saw the south side of Bonne Bay and Woody Point before driving on to Rocky Harbour for two nights at the Pond Road B&B. It's easy to find. The rooms here were as good as we got on our trip to NL and NS. The owneres are interested in their guests and interesting themselves. The breakfasts are very good. more
