We stayed a few days at a one bedroom chalet and wished we had made this our only base for Cape Breton. Great views, quiet, clean, very well apppointed, spacious, attentive hosts, great new nice porch with lovely outdoor furniture and umbrella. A bargain for the money. We were here for 3 nights and found it to be clean, comfortable and very quiet. Although the units are attached, we couldn't hear our neighbours at all. Using the barbeque on our patio, we could hear a baby crying next door, but not from inside. This accommodation is exactly as it is described on their website - no surprises,... more
We stayed in a spacious and clean 2 bedroom cottage for a night. As we are CAA member, we received 10% discount on the already reasonable rate which gave us excellent value for our stay. We loved the European style of having 2 mattresses to make up a king size bed so we can toss and turn all we want... more
Cape Breton is a beautiful place to visit so long as you don't stay in one place more than 2/3 days. Unlike us, who spent 13 days in the hunters mountain lodge, we struggled to find things to do around cape breton after a week, i found myself driving long distances to find things/places we had'nt already been and done.... more
