We had a wonderful experience at Auld Farm Inn B&B. Jan and Glen were very welcoming hosts, and the Inn has a very warm and cozy atmosphere. We arrived late the night of our stay, which was not a problem at all. Breakfast the following morning was delicious with homemade muffins and blueberry pancakes. Jan and Glen are also very... More

Thank you Jan and Glen for awesome hospitality and a wonderful room. The breakfast was fantastic with Jan's homemade bread and baked goods. It was a nice added touch having a local made soap sample in our bathroom. Our room was clean, spacious and very relaxing. Having no specific plans on our vacation, we left after breakfast and an hour... More

Planned a short stay in Baddeck on the weekend and stayed at the Auld Farm Inn with my girlfriend. Everything was great: friendly service, clean and tidy, very comfortable bed and spacious room, and a great spread for breakfast. Very satisfied and can recommend them to all.

Jan and Glen were great. Our family of 4 was looking for one room and, initially, Glen suggested some other spots where we might be more comfortable since his available rooms would be tight with 4. He also said to call back if we had no luck. Apparently, we were late in booking and ended up calling back. Glen was... More

This was an amazing quick stop. I, unfortunately, had just over 30 hours to be on Cape Breton and needed a place to stay. Auld Farm Inn was open during the slow season, had a room that was just my size, and amazingly accommodating hosts. I could not have asked for a better B & B. Jan and Glen were... More

For starters, Jan and Glen's responses to my emails were extremely efficient and concise. The b&b was perfect - it was spotless, nicely decorated, and the bed was so comfy we overslept on both nights. We were the only guests here since it was the winter season, but Jan and Glen were very friendly and made us feel at home,... More

Jan and Glenn were great hosts and very friendly. The b and b itself is lovely and Baddeck Bay down the road is stunning. Bed was comfy and breakfast was good! It was a shame that being shoulder season for Cape Breton all the restaurants bar 2 were closed for the season; but they did recommend where to eat which... More

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Baddeck is certainly a lovely place to be and we feel very lucky to be able to live in this beautiful area. We too are disappointed that the shoulder season does mean that many of the eateries are closed, but the local tourism group continue to look into ways in which... More

I stayed here in Oct and was very impressed with the facilities and had a wonderful comfortable room with an awesome mattress---wish I had it home but hosts informed me where they could be bought. As a diabetic I found all the food I needed at breakfast and particularly enjoyed the breakfast table talk and where each was heading for the... We were so pleased to have been able to offer you the one night, as we were so full for the festival week. We try where we can to accommodate any dietary requirements that folks may have and were delighted that you felt we had achieved that for you. The 'table talk' always makes us smile, even though we may... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Auld Farm. We stayed in a room in the main house with ensuite and found it clean and comfortable. The hosts were knowledgeable about the island and very willing to share travel ideas customized to our interests. We appreciated the buffet style breakfast that spanned an hour and a half so that we... More

We're delighted that we were able to share our knowledge of the island with you, especially if you found places and saw scenery that you may have otherwise missed. We hope that next time you visit us, we will have a few more interesting places to tell you about. More

My husband and I stayed at the Auld Farm B&B a few weeks ago as we were cycling around the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. We arrived in Baddeck after a long day of cycling and we were happy to find a comfortable and clean B&B where we could relax and get cleaned up. As we were cycling and didn't... More

A comfy bed is always very welcome after a long day of cycling and we're pleased that we could offer that to you. We firmly believe that hospitality shouldn't necessarily stop at a comfy bed and a hearty breakfast, therefore to let folks cycle into town on a very wet night just to get a meal would not have been...
