We would, and have already, recommend this to anyone traveling in Nova Scotia. It was an intimate setting where you receive excellent service by wonderful hosts. The food was excellent, the rooms clean and we enjoyed pleasant walking trails. A totally relaxing experience. more

Our friends, my husband and I traveled around Nova Scotia for 18 days in September. We had all our rooms arranged except for the last two. We decided to head back from Cape Breton toward Halifax and decided to stay at the Seaward Landing. It was one of the best places we stayed. David and Ann Marie could not have... more

One thing to note about these reviews is that the Inn came under new management two years ago or so. It is my impression that the new folks are doing quite well with it, indeed. The Inn sits on its own peninsula and is really two buildings -- a house that contains the kitchen and dining room, and a separate... more

After spending about 12 hours on the road with the fog, wind and rain settling in and the skies growing dark we stumbled across the Seawind Landing quite by accident. By this time we were pretty much resigned to sleeping in the car. The Inn is tucked away a short drive from the highway and I had my fingers crossed... more

We stayed here with another couple in rooms in a new two-story building separate from the main inn and dining room. The view from our second story balcony was beautiful, 270 degrees around our balcony. Staff was very helpful, bringing ice and hot tea to our rooms. Dinner was A+, breakfast even better (have the eggs benedict!). I regret we... more

The Innkeepers were very friendly, the accommodations were charming and the diningroom was superb and the service unmatched! Lovely conversation and Beaufort the dog were an added treat. The property is beautifully maintained with a great view overlooking the ocean. We would highly recommend this property to others looking to recharge with a great dining room. more

My husband and I, and my mother who has some trouble walking distances, stayed here. The hosts told us exactly what to expect and chose rooms that were easy to get to, without stairs. Both rooms were comfortable, clean and charming, and the Morning Glory room had a splendid water view. The meals were delightful - good wine, delicious food... more

We chanced upon Sea Wind because of a recommendation of some "locals" (about an 1 hour away from the Inn). It was relatively late when we arrived and Ann Marie could not have been nicer! We stood out on the deck, gazing at a full moon reflected in the harbor, the water lapping in the background. The kind of view... more

We stayed at the Seawind Landing for one evening on July 9th. We booked the Morning Light room. Hosts Ann Marie and David deJongh were wonderfully friendly and wanting to please. This property is located on some beautiful grounds. You must take the time to walk the path and sit on the dock, very pretty (except for the darn black... more

We spent 3 days at the Seawind Landing in the main lodge with a room overlooking the cove. Due to the surrounding area, the good food and the very friendly owners, this leg of our 2 week Nova Scotia vacation was our favorite stop. We took long walks to an island over a sand bar, met and had blueberry wine... more
