The Sunset Motel is a very basic motel in the small community of New Town. It's independent, and along the lines of a Motel 6 or Super 8 without the standardization. The room we had was very clean and appeared to be newly constructed or recently renovated. While there was some dust and grime in the lobby area (and a dead mounted bear and other wildlife that did not make it through hunting season) the room itself was quite clean.

It's very basic - but it did have AC, HBO, and a small fridge. No fancy toiletries, no hair dryer, no iron, etc. But it provided a much needed place to sleep and it was nice and quiet. Overall, an ok place to stay if you are in this area, and a good value at $60 in peak season. more
