I stayed at the beautiful, serene and award winning Hillcrest Inn in Port Hope in mid-September and I must say that I had found Paradise there!

It was my second time there and I have to say they keep on getting better and better! From the moment I passed through the entrance of the Victorian mansion, I totally became relaxed and forgot all about my drive on the busy 401 highway.

The warm welcome I had received from Cassandra at the reception was a breath of fresh air. What I liked best about the Inn were the warm smiles which greeted me as I went from room to room and the fact that the employees would stop and ask if I needed anything or how my stay was? I truly felt treasured, cared for and spoiled during my brief, but memorable stay there.

I stayed in the Georgina Rose room which was gorgeous beyond words and which had a view directly across from Lake Ontario. I love the fact that every single detail had been attended to and that I did not need to ask... more
