Although it is a great location & close to St Jacob main, the rooms were small & the shared bath an issue. Fairly strict house rules - like no showers after 10pm, slippers provided etc...Breakfast was good but we'd stay elsewhere next time.
went to the B&b a in July....2009. loved the atmosphere of the house.....very well decorated!! withing walking distance to town...which was great , because we did lots of walking and Shopping in the wonderful little boutiques... The breakfast was excellent!! would recommend.

The rooms are outdated and small. No space. No AC. Shared bathrooms. No sitting room or TV. Spartan at best.
The Baumann house is an excellent B&B to stay at in St Jacob's. Its located close to the center of town, within walking distance to all the local attractions. Claire and Roger are great hosts, providing great in sites of the history of the area and mapping out interesting things to do and see.
We had a wonderful stay, Claire and her husband(sorry I forget his name) made us feel very welcome.
