We stayed at the Oaks Inn Oct 2 and 3/09 for a family wedding. We found our accomodations very clean and comfortable and being able to park right in front of our patio doors made unpacking/packing so easy. The banquet hall accomodated all comfortably, acoustics were very good and the food delicious and plentiful. The service in the restaurant was... more

We stayed at the Oaks Inn for my brother's wedding reception. For all that we'd heard in advance the Oaks Inn was supposed to be a really great place to stay. Touting recent renovations we expected a substantial WOW factor, but were mostly disappointed. Apparently the room we were in wasn't a part of recent renovations, as the furniture in... more

I stay there regulary for twenty days at a time. The motel changed its rates during a stay that I already payed for in full using a debit cardincluding a fifty dollar security deposit. While reviewing my credit card summary two weeks after leaving the hotel i noticed that they had charged my card for there rate change. They had... more

Ok, I get it Oaks Inn is a bit plain and old as a hotel, but for DUCK HUNTERS it is a paradise. First, they help you get a Canadian Duck license (important for US hunters) which is worth everything right there. The bar is good, and food is good, and breakfasts are hardy enough to last you all day... more

Room was very old and plain, with old style of beds (I prefer the duvet style blanket with plastic covers under the sheets, etc). I should have known upon arriving when the front desk looked to be straight out of the 70s. We were only staying one night, otherwise we probably would have moved next door to the Days Inn,... more

First time at the Oak's Inn, recommended by a friend. I understand it is under new management and they are currently renovating the rooms, my room was original however it was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in and I would stay here again. I am travelling all the time for business and loved the wireless internet service. Dining... more

I stayed at this hotel many times during 2005 and 2006, and most recently in September 2007. Yes, the rooms could use an update, but they seem to be slowly adding new furniture and carpeting. The staff is all very friendly and the food is consistently good. more

Not a very enjoyable stay at the Oaks Inn. The rooms smelled musty and old which complimented the furniture nicely. The hotel looks decent from the outside but certainly does not live up to the expectation on the inside. Bathrooms were outdated and needed more than a good scrub. We ended up transferring to the Days Inn directly next door.... more

The room was below average. Some stains on the carpet and the pullout bed.The big drawback was no ice machines.if you need ice you have to go to the bar.The wholeplace needs a makeover.Stay next door at the Days Inn.Cheaper and nicer. more
