We had previously gone on a weekend gettaway to Cavendish in the off-season and found many locations to be closed although we enjoyed our stay so this time we decided to go in the middle of the summer(high season) so we could enjoy more of the attractions. We went on a boat tour which was alot of fun as well as touring the waterfront in charlottetown. We found the cottage very clean and spacious. It was a two bedroom with large living room, kitchen was small ( basically a kitchenette) but we enjoyed the large deck with propane barbeque. We ate at Rachael's and enjoyed the food tremendously. The boardwalk in cavendish was also a big hit and we did a fair bit of shopping here. We are going back to Cavendish this fall and staying at the "Hidden Acres Cottages" this time and going to the musical -"Anne and Gilbert". I am really looking forward to the trip. more
