We picked the Fiddle Farm from among several choices on a PEI website. We were very pleased at our good fortune. Richard and Mary were wonderful innkeepers and we benefited from their knowledge of the local scene. Our room (Stradavarius) was very small and the bathroom was a bit of a head banger with its sloping roof. It was clean and comforable, however. The other guest rooms might be a better choice for someone who needs space to move about. The rest of the Fiddle Farm included great art work, fiddles of various descriptions, interesting books, Richard's fiddle making workshop, goats, sheep, a horse, and the other things that properly label this as a "farm."
The breakfasts were accompanied by lovely Gaelic music and the food was first rate. Mary is a wonderful baker and the sticky rolls and muffins were great. Every morning, Mary picked fresh strawberries for the breakfast. We also arranged for an evening meal that was equally delicious and well...
