Victoria is sort of a quiet backwater off the highway - but with a fine restaurant (Landmark Cafe), a theatre (we didn't go), and a small collection of nice shops. We found it a perfect way station near the Confederation Bridge. The hotel is charming: congenial host, a delightful tea/breakfast room, very quiet. Our room on the second floor was... more

Bob and Bonnie are great hosts; he cooks and she serves. The tea room is also great. The town of Victoria is really small, but cute. It has a few places to eat and shop. If you like quaint places, you will love the Orient Hotel. more

Loved this historic hotel, perfect for this beautiful town. We were lucky to find last-minute accommodations there. We got a suite which was spacious; the bathroom was huge! Well decorated, friendly hosts and great food. Excellent value! The owner has a tea room which any one should try. Too bad they're apparently selling, hope it maintains its level of quality. more

It is a funky little place, old and on a tiny scale, but beautifully maintained and very clean. Bonnie and Bob offered us a Room,... more

We booked the Seashell Room [$79 per night] for Sep 7-9, 2005. Unfortunately, on the drive to Victoria, I became ill and wasn't up to climbing the stairs to the third floor. Bonnie quickly reassigned us to the Seawind Room [$99 per night] on the second floor. She pushed the twin beds together to make a king. This room is... more
