Found this little place while on a Moose Tour - The Big East Tour. The tour plan was to stay for 2 days and continue on south to Toronto. However myself and two other girls decided to stay for 3 extra days here. This place is awesome. Probably wouldn't have found it as there is not much else to Fort Coulonge - a tiny little logging town.

ACTIVITIES...
The lodge is known for White Water Rafting but you can also hire bikes and trek to the Chutes. Or you can hire canoes and kayaks for a nominal cost. We packed a picnic and canoed to a little island across the water. The lodge is surrounded on 3 sides by the water of the river running through the area. Really pretty area. Supplied us with some great sunset photos. At night there is quite often a campfire in a specially designed area. Last night we even had two guitar players join us and sing some camp songs. Was a really fun nite. Sad to be leaving.
