My wife and I, traveling with two friends, found Los Artistas to be the perfect place to relax, enjoy the towns of Aijiijic and others surrounding Lake Chapala and for shopping trips to Tonala. This was my 2nd visit to Los Artistas and we enjoyed it once again. The gardens, rooms, common indoor areas, pool and courtyards are warm and inviting. Breakfasts are varied and delicious. Linda & Kent, the innkeepers are helpful, friendly and informative. They are glad to provide information on the area, make arrangements for airport transfers, and answer endless questions.... more

We went to Los Artistas for a second honeymoon and it was a relaxing, peaceful paradise. The grounds are lovely, the house is beautiful and the hosts are outstanding. Los Artistas is a very pleasant and attractive enclave in Ajijic-- beautiful gardens (thanks, Jose), great hosts (thanks, Linda & Kent), and tasty (and varied) breakfasts (thanks, Socorro). TripAdvisor reviews of Los Artistas convinced us to stay there during our recent four day-trip to Ajijic, and we weren't disappointed. It's every bit as beautiful, peaceful, and enjoyable as others have described. We opted for the Mango Room, roomy and private with a nice tiled bathroom--it's one of three rooms in the casita in the back of the garden.... more

I've stayed in two B & B's in Ajijic and Los Artistas was by far the most pleasent surroundings. The gardens with the water features provided a constant atmosphere of tranquility and the bird population through out the trees and gardens created a musical backdrop unlike any I have experienced before. more

Stayed four nights at Los Artistas. Terrific hosts and staff - very helpful. Rooms are well maintained, nicely decorated, clean & quiet. Walled yard, with pool, is a beautiful, quiet place to relax. Great breakfast. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. more
