This might be my favorite hotel in Mexico. It is not fancy, but it's very attrative and clean, great service. It's very authentic and simpy lovely. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast can be rolls and coffee but sometimes they cook a big Mexican breakfast.

Great hotel, Beautiful Colonial Mexico, each room has a fireplace and is on a big courtyard with cactus and flowering plants, right down the street from the Basilicia and only a few blocks walk to the center. Under Reno in some rooms but the ones done are wonderful.

Lovely people running the hotel, however we were the only people staying there because most of the rooms were being upgrades, so it was very quiet. Very clean and we would stay there again. Great value and lovely to sit beside a real wood fire in our room

After spending 5 nights in Oaxaca and 3 nights in Puebla, we headed back to Patzcuaro and our favorite hotel. Upon our request, we were once again given room 15 for two nights and everything was exactly what we have come to expect - exceptionally clean, quiet and a very friendly staff. Our rate was once again $770MXN/night.
