Although our trip was a while ago now, I felt I owed it to this fab hotel to leave a positive review! We stayed in the Bahia Principe on Domincan a few years ago and new this was a nice chain, so decided to treat ourselves to Rivera Maya. We stayed in the Coba part of the hotel, which is... more

Akumal has the better beach. Coba the best pool. The resort is very large, with a lot of pools and restaurants. The beach near the lagoon is amazing. There are no rocks. Rent a car and go to Chichiniza. Go Tulum beach by bus - it is one of the beaches with the most beutiful sea we had ever been.... more

There were four of us on this trip myself and my partner and another couple. We were all pleasantly suprised with this hotel and the place it's self. We had read plenty of reviews before we travelled not all were great, but do not listen to any one who complains about this hotel. I really couldn't finmd one thing to... more

As a couple who travel on average three times a year we need to say you need to look no further than Bahia Principe! This May we were to travel to Coba but 4 days before we were to leave (there was 25 of us!!!!!) they cancelled flights!! So in a scramble to take a vacation we went to Punta... more

Family of 6: 80ish-Grandma, 4 adults, 9 yr old girl. Going to comment on things others haven’t. Other than we thoroughly enjoyed the resort, would return, and highly recommend. Torn between here and our adults-only-favourite resort Excellent Playa Mujeres. We are hopeful that when this medical situation clears we can help GBP and its employees regain their livelihoods – by... more

We were at the Bahia Principe Coba (Premier) from April 9th till April 23d , it was our fifth time stay and we absolutely loved it! Not only the rooms are very spacious and clean, the service is the reason we always come back, the waiters, the receptionists, public relations staff, everybody is amazing and gave us really the feeling... more

Room I stayed at Gran Bahia Principe Coba April 23-30, 2009 at the height of the swine flu although it didn't affect us much. It was a good idea requesting our 2 rooms near the activity pool b/c it was close to the lobby, buffet & tram pick up BUT very loud during the day. I prefer to sleep in... more

What a beautiful place. The food was better than resorts I have been to in Cuba. We were upgraded to the gold, so we had our own lobby, with computers, and a choice of 4 ala cartes instead of the usual three. This was great for me, as I am never fussy about buffets. The only problem we had, was... more

We had a wondeful trip. The hotel was very clean, the food was excellent! The staff very friendly. My only complaint was the bar hours...were Canadian and would have liked to continue drinking past 11pm with out going to the discoteque. Oh well, probably felt better the next day for it! more

We stayed at the Bahia Coba in April for a friends 50th birthday. The staff were amazing!! They were great at accomodating all 8 of us for ala cartes. We travelled to all three resorts and found the Coba the best! We had great ala cartes. The best one was the Makado...the show and the food were out of this... more
