We stayed at the Flycatcher for three days while we visited the nearby ruins. It is a perfect location. Don't influenced by the location of this establishment in a small village, the flycatcher inn is an oasis for anyone visiting Uxmal and surrounds. Immaculate & comfortable rooms. The hosts are founts of local knowledge. Both circulate during breakfast (complimentary and substantial). Come equipped with your questions. The Flycatcher is located in a very quiet corner of the Yucatan, in the ultra-sleepy town of Santa Elena. But it's amazing how many things there are to see and do in the area. This place is a gem! Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here. The staff is helpful, friendly, and knows how to respect your vacation.
