The flycatcher is utterly charming. The decor is lovely, rooms spacious, comfortable and clean, the grounds beautiful. There is a small unexcavated Mayan ruin on the property! We fell in love with the place and the owner, Kristine. Uxmal is one of the most interesting Mayan ruins we have visited. My husband is an archaeologist and we have been to... More

The Flycatcher is perfectly situated for a base from which to see all the nearby ruins. Seldom have we found a neater, more colorful, better managed B&B. Pristine, comfortable, excellent breakfast--and moderately priced. More

The Flycatcher Inn is the best hotel I experienced out of Cancun. We arrived at night. The town Santa Elena was further away from Uxmal than we thought, which made us keep worrying if we had missed the town or not. Finally, with the help from local kids, we found the sign of Flycatcher Inn by the road 261. After... More

The hosts of this lovely B&B are warmly welcoming and the casitas are immaculate with a garden setting that provides privacy and quiet. Christine is an artist and the decor of the dining areas and casitas reflect her excellent taste. Santiago helped us visit the local Maya ruins, the wonderful new Museo de Cacao and the Loltun Caves which were... More

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Flycatcher Inn. Our only disappointment---we only had time for 1 night stay! Four women on a crusade to see as many ruins as possible--and Flycatcher Inn is a perfect location for traveling the Puuc Route. The four of us stayed in the Guesthouse Suite, which normally sleeps 3 I believe, but they pulled... More

Spent one night here after visiting ruins at Uxmal and Kabah. Little casitas set in a park- like setting with wonderful flowers. Welcoming hosts. Christine and Santigao provided lots of maps and other info for shops for the rest of our trip. Nice breakfast with good and plentiful coffee. More

We are glad you enjoyed our lovely gardens. Some of our most exotic plants are in bloom at the moment. We look forward to WiFi internet service becoming available in our area. Kristine More

We recently spent two nights at the Flycatcher Inn during our trip through Yucatan. The hotel is located right in between the ruins of Uxmal and Kabah, and is a great base to explore the area. What makes the hotel unique however is the charm of the building and the hospitality of the hosts. The one small downside is the... More

"Four of our larger rooms (The Flycatcher Suite, Chel House cottage, and both rooms in La Casita Guest House) have both shelf space and hanging space for longer stays. Two rooms have limited shelf space (Pe'epen and Hu'u). Only Yuya room has no shelf space for clothing and is generally for very short stays. Kristine" More

This is a beautiful, clean, nicely and tastefully furnished B$B type hotel just outside of Uxmal. The owners are really nice and on top of things. Our rooms were very comfortable, air conditioned (a necessity in the Yucatan) and uniquely situated in a peaceful community. The breakfast was excellent. When we arrived, the electricity had gone off because of the... More

A perfect base while exploring the Puuc Route. We stayed at the Flycatcher Inn for 1 night while on the Puuc Route. It was unexpectedly beautiful and relaxing, exactly what we needed after climbing ruins and driving all day. Rosa was very helpful, as Kristin was not at the Flycatcher during our stay. I only wish we had a bit... More
