The Old Post Cottage is in a beautiful quaint village and is only 5 minutes drive from Silverstone, I am afraid that is the only good thing I can say about this bed and breakfast. The rate for a double room with shared facilities was £50 per night so I did not expect luxury, but I did at least think that I would have a secure room. The double room with shared facilities could lock from the inside but not from the outside so I did not feel secure leaving any valuables in the room. The owner left the front door open most of the time and although I am sure it is a very safe village, it made me feel very uncomfortable. We stayed as a family and rented out 3 out of the 4 rooms and had one key to the main door between us which was then taken off us on the Saturday night!!!
