I stayed at the new referbished hotel last weekend. What a superb place to stay. The rooms were modern, warm and comfortable. The food was of a high standard too. I was told I was one of the first guests to use the new hotel rooms so a little worried, how wrong was that assumption. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. We booked four rooms here due to a party we were attending across the road at the town hall. Waited a good 15 mins for staff to deal with us at reception. Finally got our keys only to find the room was totally inhabitable, the bed sheets were stained and dirty, there was mould on the walls, the toilet stunk... more
